A SPACE FOR MAKING
argillerìa is an independent ceramics studio based in Berlin, founded by ceramic artists Luca Maio and Ennio Nobili.
Created from a shared vision of what a creative space could be, argillerìa was built to be much more than a place to make objects. It is a studio where making, learning and connecting are equally important, and where creativity grows through exchange rather than a competition.
From the very beginning, argillerìa has been imagined as an open and welcoming environment. A place where everyone, regardless of gender, identity, background or experience, can feel respected, supported and free to express themselves through clay.
Rather than a simply teaching ceramics, argillerìa aims to cultivate a creative community. A place where knowledge is shared naturally, where beginners work alongside experienced makers, and where every perspective contributes to the growth of the space.
The vision extends beyond the studio itself. By inviting artists from different countries and backgrounds to lead workshops and share their practice, argillerìa hopes to create an ever-evolving exchange of ideas, techniques and cultures.
Like clay itself, argillerìa is never meant to be finished. It is shaped continuously by the people who walk through its doors, bringing their stories, their creativity and their own way of making.
