Need some external firing space for your ceramic work?
At argillerìa, we offer firing services for pieces made outside the studio, depending on the available kiln space.
Our kiln fires at Cone 6 (approx. 1220°C).

> BEFORE BRINGING YOUR PIECES
To protect our kiln and everyone's work, we can only fire materials that are confirmed to be suitable for our firing temperature.
Please provide the technical data sheet or manufacturer's information for every clay body, glaze, underglaze or other ceramic material used.
The information must clearly show that the material is compatible with our Cone 6 firing temperature (approx. 1220°C).
Unfortunately, we acnnot accept pieces made with materials of unknow ncomposition or firing range.
> GLAZED PIECES
Please make sure that:
- the bottom of each piece is completely free from glaze;
- glazes are suitable for Cone 6;
- pieces are clean, dry and ready to fire;
- no unknown or experimental materials have been used without discussing them with us beforehand.
If a glaze runs, melts excessively or damages the kiln or kiln furniture, additional costs may apply.
> DROP-OFF
Firing depends on the available space in our kiln and therefore turnaround times may vary.
For firing requests or larger quantities, please contact us before bringing your work to the studio.
